1 /5 Dan JW: This place has gone very downhill in the last few years. Service has become much slower, the toilets are a disaster and the food quality is not good. I was served the most appalling Nachos and Beef Brisket on saturday night, the Beef was more akin to a "taster" size yet cost over £3!

5 /5 Z T: Ive been here a couple of times with my husband. Its our favourite pub. There is a large outdoor sitting area, good place, affordable food, and friendly stuff. Also, I must point out that the toilets were very clean. We ate the traditional English breakfast, and I must say it was a huge portion for me. For the next time, I should go for a smaller portion. And just imagine for only £6.49 all of this food on the plate.

4 /5 Tasha Purdy: Great place to get in pre-drinks before the club or a light night of drinking on a budget. The older gentleman employee is absolutely lovely and had a joke with our table both times we ordered drinks there. Orders arrived quickly and the atmosphere was decent. Would highly recommend to any students.

3 /5 Michael Yee: BOB is still a top spot — great ales, tasty food, and a friendly atmosphere. I come here for the relaxed vibe and unbeatable value. That said, I was disappointed by the pub manager’s behaviour. When I ordered a beer he didn’t understand, he showed an annoyed and impatient expression and ignored me (when I said sorry about it), while other customers were treated warmly. This felt like unequal treatment based on race, which is a real shame because everything else about BOB is excellent. I hope this is addressed, as everything else about the pub deserves praise.
