5 /5 kate x: I took my Mum here for lunch today. Been here lots of times and love it!
Great location, really nice staff, good atmosphere and great food. We had the lunchtime deal which was lovely. I will definitely be back again/well I am already booked with friends in February.
5 /5 Missye White: Visited for Sunday carvery and was genuinely impressed. For £15.95 per head, the value is strong with generous portions of tender meats, crisp roast potatoes, fresh vegetables and rich gravy. Everything tasted well prepared and fresh.
Service was attentive and professional throughout. The décor is simple and clean, and even on a rainy day the riverside views added to the atmosphere.
The venue is accessible for guests with mobility needs, which makes it an easy choice for mixed groups. Left feeling satisfied and well looked after. A solid option for Sunday lunch in Rochester.
5 /5 Giles CG: Thank you so much for a wonderful meal! The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The drinks were superb too! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly around our very nervous dog, who they helped make feel completely relaxed. Loved our lunch, and we would highly The Boat House to vegans as there are plenty of great dishes on offer to enjoy. Thank you!
5 /5 Liz Pannell: Lovely lunch with the family, food was amazing and service was spot on. Very chilled atmosphere and staff are so friendly. Would fully recommend, and will definitlely be back
Beaux Marie We love it here, order at least once a fortnight and it’s always amazing! Really good value for money and never had a bad meal from here! :)
James I first went here as a young boy. Many years later, I still love this place. The food (breakfast specifically) is very tasty, and the drinks are somehow just as good. The waiters are lovely people. The atmosphere has got to be the best part. It has a mid 20th century atmosphere, and its very cozy. If I had to give a critique, though, the burgers on occasion are quite dry. Other than that, this restaurant is wonderful!
Gary Swift There are a lot of negative reviews, but in my opinion I think the food is great. (Fried chicken range) its x5 better than that KFC. Although I dont eat kebabs from there, which is no fault of their own, I just have another place Ive been going to for years for my kebabs so cant review them - The fried chicken bundles however are spectacular. Gravy isnt great, bit watery. Thats my only snag. They deliver, take card but prefer cash. I like it. The meal in the pic came with a drink and cost £9.99 (excluding the 4 chilli cheese bites)
Chris Moon Was working nearby and decided to give Blue Gem a try. They were busy but food came out nice and quickly. Great bang for your buck and tastes great too!!
If youre in the area and hungry, give it a go!!!
George R The servers are incredibly polite and pleasant.
The food was delicious, genuinely amazing with huge portions sizes and pita with tips on the house. Genuinely one dish could feed two people, and they let you take it home for free.
Its not the cheapest Turkish restaurant Ive been to, nor the most expensive. Value for food is however really quite good.
The food did come out lukewarm (which I actually prefer) but I understand some dont so bring this up regardless.
The atmosphere is lovely, nice Turkish music in the background and an oriental vibe.
