They dont just decorate the space; they speak to you, telling stories of heritage and beauty, creating an atmosphere that is both grand and warmly welcoming. And the food? Absolutely exceptional. The taste is the true star here. Each dish was bursting with flavour, clearly made with passion and traditional recipes. The smell of the fresh, hot Afghan bread alone is enough to make your mouth water and soul happy. It’s the kind of meal that doesnt just satisfy your hunger—it reminds you of home, of family, and of cherished memories. This is all complemented by the wonderfully friendly and hospitable staff, who make you feel like an honoured guest in their home. Our Saturday night gathering turned into an amazing, memorable evening for our entire group. If you are looking for more than just a meal, if youre seeking a genuine taste of Afghan culture and warmth right in the heart of London, I cannot recommend Bamyan Restaurant highly enough. What immediately stood out was the incredible generosity of the servings—you certainly wont leave hungry! Every plate felt packed with value, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in providing big portions of their soulful menu. Beyond the size, the food itself was fantastic. I could genuinely taste the soul and thought put into the preparation. From the flavors to the plating, the meal felt less like standard restaurant fare and more like home-cooked food made with genuine care. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and take the time to season and cook everything perfectly. The ambiance was welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a comfortable meal. My only reason for not giving a full five stars is reserving that top spot for truly flawless execution, but this is easily a solid 4-star experience and a must-try for anyone craving comforting, hearty soul food. Highly recommended!

Reaz I had an amazing experience with this restaurant. I was preparing for a medical operation and needed my order made as late as possible before closing — they went above and beyond to help me. They prepared everything with patience and kindness, and the food arrived fresh, delicious, and full of flavour after my long fast. They even added the chilli sauces I requested. Their compassion, attention to detail, and top-tier service truly set them apart. May Allah reward them. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and genuine care.
