5 /5 Katie Main: Absolutely impeccable!! We had our wedding breakfast and reception at The Farriers 20/12/25 and cannot fault the experience. From start to finish, Sam (who to be fair, had me sold from the first second of meeting her), was an absolute gem. We cannot thank you all enough for your food, warmth, organisation and general just wonderful service: Just brilliant.

5 /5 steph watson: We stayed overnight in our mobile home for free and ate in the pub. We had delicious meals, I opted for fish and chips which was huge! My husband had the scampi and chips which again was delicious, both served with a gorgeous homemade tartare sauce. We couldn’t do dessert as we were too full. The staff John and Gemma couldn’t have been more hospitable and friendly. The bar is also dog friendly and John put fresh water bowl out for our dog. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere with a community feel to the place. We would not hesitate to go back and hope to overnight again when travelling through the tunnel next time. It is only 15 mins from the shuttle so it’s the perfect place to stay and recharge while travelling.

4 /5 Kim-Thùy Huynh: We ate at The Farriers Arms last Sunday. Our table of 9 was pre-booked and we also had to pre-order our choices from the Sunday Set Menu (via email). The shared platter was nicely presented with stuffing and the pork, beef slices & generous chicken pieces were soft & tender. However, was disappointed that there were no individual crispy pork rind cracklings. We had a slither of the pork skin intact on the thin pork slices. Only 1 Yorkshire pudding per person. The accompanying cauliflower cheese, kale, carrots, roast potatoes and gravy were delicious. Drinks ordered were expensive (varying from £4 to £6+ per bottle). Free jugs of water on request. We were able to ask for mustard, horseradish, tartare & ketchup sauce with our meals. Those who had the chunky chips said it was perfectly cooked. There is a free small car park onsite. We had to park on the nearby road (with no time limit). The dining area is lovely f spacious with natural light from the large windows, overlooking the fields and outdoor seating area. Service is friendly, toilets are clean (separate males and females). 10% service charge added to bill. Would return to eat here again.

5 /5 Sarah Liddell: 5 of us had lunch in the Farriers Arms yesterday while on a girls weekend away. The food was superb. I had a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and warm fudge brownie for dessert. It was a truly amazing meal and we made sure Chef knew how much we enjoyed it. The staff were amazing. So friendly and couldn’t do enough for our group - including giving us some kindling so we could try to recreate the wonderful fire they had going in the pub back at our holiday cottage! We can’t wait to plan another trip to return.

5 /5 Sam Stewart: We went here on Sunday and I have to say it is far and away the best roast that we currently know of in Kent. The porchetta, which is far from easy to cook properly, was absolutely perfect and my wife’s beef was also exceptional. Such a friendly and beautiful pub and the Guinness is spot on too. We are forever disappointed with roasts and we eat out an awful lot, this is without a doubt our new favourite and I urge anyone to go there and support this brilliant pub.
