5 /5 Anish Haridas: Ordered a takeaway on Friday and I must say it’s probably the best Indian food I’ve had in the RM area. It’s hard to find a genuinely good Indian restaurant here, as many don’t feel truly traditional but this one absolutely delivers. I tried the biryani and it was packed with flavour and very spicy. I work nearby, so I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

1 /5 James Dwight: Don’t order a takeaway from this restaurant. The first time I ordered it turned up over half hour late. Advertise that delivery will be half hour, when you order it goes up to an hour and then gets way past that time. Ordered again and the delivery took 2 hours. Rang the restaurant to cancel the order as we had to put our son to bed and they turned up ringing the doorbell at 9:30pm (we placed the order at 7:15pm). Each time we rang them they said it would be with us in 10 minutes, they just lie to you to get you off the phone. Avoid this restaurant

5 /5 Midnight Moses: I think the lower scores ive read must reflect issues with delivery rather than actual food quality because the meals I had from here so far have all been excellent. For recommendations the North Indian special is a particular highlight and tastes really fresh and high quality. Free naan for orders over 20 quid too. Very highly recommended

1 /5 Misfa Sultana: I honestly wish I had listened to the reviews before ordering. The food here was extremely disappointing. The chicken korma was far too sweet and full of shredded coconut nothing like a proper korma should be. The lamb curry had only a few small pieces of meat, and the rest was just a thick mix of onions and tomatoes with barely any flavour. Even the naan bread was awful thick, soggy, and completely tasteless. The only thing that was even halfway decent were the popadoms. Everything else was a letdown. This was easily the worst Indian meal I’ve ever had. The quality and taste were all terrible. Don’t waste your money here there are plenty of better Indian restaurants nearby that actually care about their food and customers.

5 /5 IZMY: I went on a 45-minute drive for The Fat Italian pizzas—our family favorite since their Docklands days. But saw ‘The Fat Indian’ next door and couldn’t resist a cheeky curry too! ( greedy I know!) The Chicken Shashlik curry was juicy, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious—it turned out to be the unexpected star of our Saturday night feast!
