5 /5 Mzazi: Good service, excellent choice of food, stopped off here while passing on a Saturday in September for some lunch, I went for the chefs special veggie burger with chips wasn’t too busy and was easy to find an empty table

3 /5 Demi Jueno-Chapman: The staff were quite friendly but not overly. We ordered mac and cheese, Thai style topped chips and a pie with mash and beans. The mac and cheese was watery, squidgy and had barely any colour, the "Thai style" chips had some sweet chilli sauce, red onions and hard melted cheese. The pie was actually nice but thats all and the mash was tasteless. Really disappointed as the reviews looked good and the decor is quite sweet. Really need new kitchen staff.

2 /5 Aliyah Kreft: Disappointing experience for our first time coming to the happy cheese. Arrived and waited at the front to be seated, no one came over so we assumed that we were to seat ourselves. Ordered food with the waitress, two adult meals and one child’s meal which took 35 minutes to come out and was luke warm despite the pub not even being half full. No colouring or children’s activity sheets offered to us during that time. Childs meal arrived without chips despite them being part of the meal, the waitress said she’d get us some cooked which we had to wait a further 10 minutes for. We then decided to order desert. One young girl was managing the desert stand with an overflowing que to serve. Took 10 minutes alone for the first person in the ques desert to be made. The other member of our party then asked the manager if a second person could be put on the desert stand to quicken the service. When we got back to our tables to wait for our deserts, our empty piled up plates still hadn’t been taken away. Finally the ice cream I received was nothing like the ice cream pictured on the menu as seen in the picture above. If you’d like a stress free meal with easy service this is not the place to come.

5 /5 Laura C: Lovely pub very friendly staff. We booked a table and then asked if we could stay in their car park over night in our camper which they said was fine as we had booked a table. Food very good, we ordered , a couple of acholoic drinks, a grazing board and then a main each but we had far too much food. They have an amazing ice cream parlour but could manage this time, Reasonably priced would visit again.
