4 /5 Andrew Stuart: Stayed here many times over many years but this visit was an overnight stay at West Lodge Park and the Mary Beale was just for breakfast. An excellent country house breakfast with a la carte options. Excellent.

3 /5 Faran: The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the outdoor terrace is a lovely, peaceful spot to relax with a drink — beautifully set up and great for a quiet afternoon. However, the bar menu is quite limited, and the portion sizes didn’t feel quite worth the price. A nice place overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

2 /5 Alok B: They were pretty busy and there seemed to be very few staff on duty. One of the staff came across quite surly - no doubt having a bad day. Service was really really slow and they completely forgot a food order. Disappointing from a hotel that looks top quality but fails to deliver - one expects much much better.

4 /5 Christina Baccarini: The area we sat in was beautiful, the pianist played beautifully. The staff were a little bit disorganised but the gentlemen I believed to be the manager was very attentive and very helpful and professional.  The arancini were meant to be crab, nice but didnt taste any crab. The roast beef was nice and so was my desert. But we had an absolutely amazing afternoon, sat there for over 5hrs and  really enjoyed our afternoon . Everyone of our party 15 had a lovely time. So a really big thank you . And thank you to the staff for the special birthday desert with a candle for my brother.
