The service is fantastic, and the manager is incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming. A truly great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be visiting again! From Sri Lanka

2 /5 Aishwarya Sanchety: What started as a hopeful experience, since the interior and exterior of the pub looked great, quickly turned into disappointment. I ordered the lunch special with the Grilled Cheese Toastie and a Coke. The menu described it as “a medley of mature Cheddar, Gouda and Emmental, with béchamel sauce in a toasted farmhouse loaf,” which sounded very promising. What arrived, however, was nothing close. The bread was barely toasted, the cheese felt more like a thin melted layer had been smeared on like butter and there was none of the flavour promised. I sent it back and requested for it to actually be grilled with the cheeses listed. What came back was even worse, still under-toasted, with a cold, dense lump of cheese inside that was unpleasant and inedible. The only reason I ate half was because I didn’t have time to order something else before I had to leave. At £9.25, this was not only underwhelming but genuinely disappointing. The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the server was really nice and apologetic.

The manager is so kind and polite, and the staff always make you feel at home. Their Christmas special drinks are absolutely wonderful — perfect for the festive season. A great place to enjoy good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere!

5 /5 Ines Gomes: It was our first time here, and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! James was excellent, he was welcoming and attentive to our requests. He was helpful, without being intrusive. The menu had various options, and we are definitely coming back for the pizza!

4 /5 Joseph Premto: Being one of our local pubs we thought to give it a go. Lovely interiors, open and bright vibe. The food was good no fuss and what you would expect from your local pub. Revisted for Sunday lunch, same sort of food quality and great vibe. Very interesting and quirky interiors with something in for everyone. One of the great things is that the pub is dog friendly and has loads of activities going on throughout the week accompanied with special menu items. Definitely worth a visit if In the area.
