5 /5 Carl West: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our dinner at The Old School House. The service was prompt, courteous and friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. This is a contemporary restaurant, but is also sympathetic to a traditional Indian dining experience. The menu features the tried and trusted classics, as well as some mouth watering specials and signature dishes. I’m an enormous fan of Goan dishes, and my curry was fantastic and perfectly balanced. My daughter was apprehensive about trying restaurant curry, so she tried bits of ours and enjoyed experiencing some new flavours. She particularly enjoyed the keema naan, as did I! No dessert menu, but this isn’t uncommon. My daughter was kindly offered some ice cream, which she ate and said was very nice. The gentleman who served us said there will be some gorgeous sounding desserts coming soon!
The restaurant offers free parking, and there is also another free car park a short walk away. Toilets are a bit basic, but were clean and stocked with paper and soap. Overall I can highly recommend this restaurant, and would like to extend my gratitude to the guys who looked after us. dhanyavaad!
