Jodie Morgan Seriously, Eleanas Bistro is a must-visit and has completely blown away every other high street spot weve tried. From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was truly exceptional. ​ ​The menu is a sensational journey! We started our day with the Athenian Eggs, and they were nothing short of spectacular—perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and bursting with incredible flavor. We also indulged in the Koulouri Paros, which was so fresh, fluffy, and utterly delicious. ​Our drinks were just as impressive. The Latte and the Matcha were both expertly crafted to perfection—rich, smooth, and exactly the high-quality boost we needed. ​It is clear that Eleanas takes immense pride in every single item they serve. ​While the food is stellar, what truly elevated our visit was the phenomenal staff. Every single person was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. They made us feel so genuinely welcome and clearly take immense pride in delivering outstanding service. ​If you are looking for the absolute best brunch experience, do yourself a massive favor and visit Eleanas Bistro! We will absolutely be making this our new regular spot!

Iain Martin This is the local cafe at the end of our street. We usually only get coffee but decided today to try the big fried breakfast. Well, what to say? It was huge, delicious, and great value. All the meats tasted lovely and the portion was very generous. The folks running the cafe are always superb. Always happy and greet you with a smile and a joke. They remember your order after your first visit and really make the cafe a nice place to visit and hang out. If you want a cheeky breakfast (it’s on all day so even have it for lunch) treat then we’d definitely recommend stopping in.

Ana Patricia Ferreira Bacchus We had a truly special time at Petersham Nurseries for lunch with friends yesterday. I arrived a bit earlier to enjoy the plants and flowers outside, so pretty! Lots of colourful dahlias! The restaurant has an amazing display of flowers everywhere too, Instagram perfect! The food was super tasty! The pumpkin risotto with gorgonzola & sage was absolutely delicious! The fish outstanding! All dishes were beautifully presented and had authentic flavours. We had a lovely and memorable experience overall! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was cosy and elegant.

Nina Amazing, we ordered the burrada with Crostini which was delicious. I wanted a pasta with seafood and they made it for me even though it wasn’t in the menu, it was super tasty. My husband ordered the calzone which he loved and at the end we had an amazing dessert which it wasn’t overly sweet!

It is the kind of place where you pop in for a quick espresso and end up staying for a chat. A true neighbourhood treasure – the food is amazing, just like you are in Italy. Every bite feels authentic, comforting, and made with genuine passion.
