5 /5 Maddy Farrell: 1st visit to this place in over 10 years as my friend has just moved around the corner!! Really friendly girl behind the bar with amazing hair! Food was excellent and then to top it all the landlord Jay comes over personally to check how it all was. Great friendly service and a very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely be back soon!!

4 /5 Carlotta Midolo: The Sunday roast was amazing. Got the trio to try as many as possible and all were stunning. Highly recommend the lamb and chicken!! Good atmosphere.

3 /5 Win Clues or Draw: A friend and I booked a table for last Sunday 1/3 at 3pm for 2 adults and a child. I recommended it to my friend after visiting before. It was busy but we were seated quickly. We heard great things about the roasts so we were keen to try them. However after being seated it took another 40 mins for us to get drinks and a total of 1 hour before our food order was taken. We were surprised that none of the servers came to check we were OK or that we had ordered. When they came to our table we were told that there was a private function but we both noticed there were staff standing around. Eventually and luckily the food arrived quickly after ordering and was delicious. No issues there. Credit to the chef! We just think the service could have been a lot better and the wait could put us (and others) off coming on a Sunday again.

3 /5 David Clarke: Sunday Lunch . We wete a party of 6 split (2bills) both ordered one after each other .1st tables food arrived after a long wait 30+ minutes. By the time they had eaten their meals the other tables meals still hadnt arrived. Once meals arrived ,the meals were very nice and lots of veg and meat. We ordered deserts but after 20 minutes we gave up and asked for the bill. Discount was offered and taken off the bill. What a shame as the pub is very nice and staff very friendly working under pressure from the kitchen. Not sure what went wrong ,too many orders/small kitchen not enough kitchwn staff. I think you need to be upfront and as people order tell them there is going to be a wait of up to an hour etc and they can make their own minds up. Food was very nice and good value just whole experiance spoiled by long waiting time. Would I recommend ..Yes hapoy to give them a go again ( be up front about times)

4 /5 Amy Walters: We went to the Six bells to celebrate my mum and aunties birthday. We booked ahead of arriving for Sunday roast. We were seated at a nice table and the bar service was good from the girls that were working. We went to order food and the young girl took our 6 meal choices. As she did this she realised she hadn’t added to our tab so had to redo this. She told me not to worry and return to our table and she will sort, time went by and 4 of our meals came to the table. However 2 were missing. We made the staff aware and they went to correct this. Around 10 mins had passed and the mains were still not here. The landlord came over to explain there was an issue with the till system. He was very kind and apologised for this, and gave us complimentary drinks for our stay. He was so kind and the staff made every effort to rectify the issue of delayed food. We will be returning to the pub for sure due to the kind and helpful staff, and the amazing roasts!!
