4 /5 Steven Steve: Nice traditional pub with very friendly staff. The Thai food was good, at least as good as most pub Thai cuisine so Im giving it a 4 out of 5 star rating as it falls short of the best Thai restaurant food Ive had. The Pad Thai was particularly nice. Prices are reasonable and there is some sort of lunch deal available between 12pm-3pm Monday to Saturday.

Focusing on the food, we ordered the Gai Prik Tai Dum (Sizzler dish), Chilli and Holy Basil Chicken, accompanied by sticky rice. The total bill came to £30. From my experience with Thai cuisine across various reputed locations, the dishes at Thai Swan Inn fell short of expectations. The flavors appeared heavily reliant on artificial oyster sauce, overshadowing the natural balance and freshness typically characteristic of authentic Thai cooking. Comparatively, places such as Thai Upon Thames near Richmond offer far superior Thai cuisine at similar price points, making the disparity in quality quite noticeable. In terms of cost-to-quality ratio, I would assess it at approximately 0.1, reflecting poor value for money. In other nearby Thai establishments, the ratio would comfortably approach 1.0 — indicating excellent value and authentic culinary experiences. In summary, while the Thai Swan Inn may serve its purpose as a local pub, for those seeking high-quality Thai food, it falls short both in service and in culinary authenticity.

1 /5 Diana Romei: I ordered Thai food from justeat quite some time ago, after I successfully ordered many times before (unfortunately I cant change my rating on justeat). Only this time I was violently ill by food poisoning, woke up at 3 am vomiting and had a high temperature. I cannot even imagine what could have possibly caused it, if poor hygiene or else.
