T Lovegrove What a great Pub/Restaurant this is. A table for 12 had been booked, and I must say, the staff were brilliant and made us all feel most welcome. The service was excellent, as was the food. This is certainly a venue Id recommend, beit for a large or for just a couple, it wont disappoint. The food was super and well prepared and presented, too. This is definitely a place Id recommend and most definitely return to.

philth Great local Italian we found almost by accident. Absolutely delicious pizzas, we had margaritas and added sausage and artichoke to one and mushrooms on the other. Nice house white wine. Looks like only a few seats from outside but big space upstairs with 80 seats. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend if you’re in the area. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in the uk in ages

Bethan Owens The biggest thank you goes out to the wonderful staff at The Ship Inn! We held a wake at the pub almost a month ago after my father-in-law’s funeral. What a gem of a pub! The staff were amazing and so attentive, the food was homemade and plentiful, the space for our party was perfect. An incredibly sad day turned into a lovely celebration! Highly recommend! DJ Clinic We had a wonderful visit to Caffè The Vintage Empire. The place has a charming 1940s English vintage deco feel, which gives it such a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. I had the poached egg on toast with salmon, along with a pot of tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a beautiful slice of Victoria sponge—light, fresh, and perfectly made. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A delightful spot that truly takes pride in its vintage style. Highly recommended!

Steve Copeland Came in on Wednesday evening 7th Jan. Food was very good, the fish and the batter were excellent. Service was also excellent, waitress happy to swap milk for lemon in my tea. Would definitely recommend.
