4 /5 Lorna W: Nice place for a Sunday roast in the neighbourhood. We went on Father’s Day. Four of us had pork & two had beef. The meats were delicious, Yorkshire puddings were quite stunning. Veg & potatoes though could be better. Dessert we had sticky dates pudding which we loved, cheesecake was good though nothing special. Service was really good. Pub was a bit too noisy at times as we were sitting right next to the pool table. It was a bit rowdy with noisy kids.

5 /5 Luke Stock: Propa pies and propa filling. Game pie and leek, potato and cheese pie. The gravy was crazy flavoursome. Mash looked like it was left out for a while but it was moist and buttery to the taste. Live jazz band on a Saturday afternoon was a bonus. Service was slow and a little inattentive. Painting by Southgate (the artist) were beautiful.

5 /5 J A: Lovely local pub, come here a lot. Nice happy hour earlier in the night which is always a win. Vegetarian pie is delicious, only wish it came with mash and gravy like the others.

4 /5 Mrs Diehardninja: Nice friendly atmosphere, the amount of time given for our booked table was excellent and the portion size was great ( Yorkshire pudding is huge!!) but the food wasnt very hot. When we ordered extra gravy it came in a very small jug which was only half full. After the English Sunday roast we ordered dessert but there was no crumble there was however sticky toffee pudding.
