5 /5 David Freeman: Fantastic food cooked freshly by friendly staff. Considering it’s a beach fish and chip stall I was very impressed. Ps the local seagulls are very aggressive and attacked me on leaving the stall and took my sausage! The staff cooked me a new one free of charge! Fantastic thank you

1 /5 Laura Thompson: We visited traditional fish and chips on 13/8 being it was busy it was also very loud I ordered 2 kids fish and chips , 2 chips on pen and 3 cans of coke. It was only when I got home I realised they charged me £40 obviously I have looked up online but no phone number and no email address. This ended up being a very expensive afternoon out.

1 /5 Richard Clarke: Worst chips of all time! Not cooked properly. Even the mayonnaise was filth. More like out of date wall paper paste. The only consolation was that the large portion was tiny. We fed the chips to the seagulls, who are probably dead now.

1 /5 andrew wadhams: We were drawn to this fish and chip bar after seeing a lady walking nearby with what looked like a beautifully presented portion of fish and chips. Tempted by the appearance, we decided to order two portions of fish, chips, and peas. We were surprised at the £35 cost, but given the seafront location, we reluctantly accepted it. However, what we received was hugely disappointing. The portion consisted of a quarter piece of cod, a meagre handful of chips, and peas served in a dirty pot — which we had to ask to be replaced. Had the food been of high quality, we might have been more understanding about the price. But unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The chips were clearly frozen, tasted unpleasant, and the portion was embarrassingly small. While the small bit of fish we had did taste okay, the batter was poor. Overall, this was a disappointing and overpriced experience. We won’t be returning.
