Sani Ario A serious steakhouse keeps things simple. Popeseye does exactly that. Choose a cut, choose your weight and thats that. They dont offer anything else (other than salad and dessert). We had the rump and fillet, and both were cooked perfectly (medium rare). Yet the golden chips also stole the show, with its perfect crunch and soft on the inside. A nice arsenal of condements (mustards and sauces) was a nice touch. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, this was a wonderful suprise of a resto.

Mary Culver On the last night of our holiday, we visited Bengal Palace. A lovely Indian restaurant, formerly a pub. The wonderful aroma of good food hits you as you walk in. There is a pool table to keep you amused while you are waiting for your food, the kids enjoyed having a game. Our food was delicious, hot on arrival and portions very generous. Chicken tikka was cooked to perfection and the flavour was spot on. They do take away and delivery service which seemed to be busy. Its lovely to eat in though. The restaurant is very clean, Id love to sit by the wood burner in colder times, very cosy I would imagine. Toilets lovely and clean and well stocked. Service professional and friendly. Go and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Gary Finnerty I cannot recommend "Number One Kitchen" highly enough. From the moment we arrived to the point we left, we received attentive service; we felt appreciated as customers. The food was excellent, both in terms of quality and portion size. To make the afternoon extra special, our host AJ, without a being asked, provided birthday cake and candles for my two children who were celebrating special birthdays. We will definitely be returning. THANK YOU

Peter McCrindle This was, without a doubt, the best meal I had during my six weeks of visiting the UK. The total bill was €171 for three people, including the 10% service charge. This covered 3 starters, 3 mains, 2 desserts, and 4 glasses of wine—excellent value for the quality received. The service was first-class from the moment we arrived. We were immediately greeted and ushered to our pre-booked table. A standout detail was how quickly the water we requested arrived, which really bucked the trend; in the ten or so other restaurants I ate at, we often had to ask numerous times! The food was delicious, and the entire experience was flawless. I will absolutely return on my next visit. Izzie x Always such great vibes and consistently amazing food! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Everything is always fresh, hot, and full of flavour proper comfort food done right. It’s become my go to local spot and never disappoints. Highly recommend if you want good food and good energy every time!
