Windmill Fish Bar - (Near , london)

Chris Had a very nice lunch here today. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. Usually just visit for the garden centre, but my friend and I decided to eat whilst here. This is a great family run cafe/restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We were seated quickly and served quickly, although it was fairly busy (and is normally packed out) I had the poached eggs with smashed avocado with an oat milk cappuccino. The coffee is very nice here too, probably the nicest I’ve had in a while. My friend had the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and it looked delicious. All tasted fresh and came quickly too. Extra seating now for when it is very busy, which meant we didn’t have to wait for a table today. Lots of variety on the menu, and some of the other food being served up looked delicious too. Glad to see this place is still open and doing well. The staff here clearly work very hard to provide great food and service. Very reasonable prices too. Would recommend.

Aniket Kulkarni We went down there on a weekday. It wasn’t crowded. Had an Afghani Soya chap for the starter and Malai kofta with Naan as main course and capped it off with gulabjamun. The food was delicious. The staff is very welcoming and were diligent in making sure everything is alright. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers.

Zain Zafar Honestly, just try it, you won’t be disappointed. Amazing rotisserie chicken that isn’t dry and just falls off the bone and is seasoned so well. The steak was unbelievable, I’ve had some very fine steaks but this is one of the best. So perfectly seared and just look at the colour it had! Great service, this is a must try/top eats in Richmond. (Truffle mash is also a must try)

Lindsey Reece-Smith I met with friends here and had a lovely meal. There is a mix of street food and familiar with a particular twist. The restaurant is vegetarian and caters well for particular diets (my friend was asking about coeliac and dairy free). Quiet atmosphere away from the crowds but good service and lovely food We had the spinach chat and buffalo cauliflower. Chana masala, butter plant chicken, mushroom (cant remember the name) and a masala dosa
