Elizabeth Varghese Good Chinese food in Oxford. Decent quantity and fair priced. If you are a pork fan there are a lot of dishes. Would love to come back again to try other dishes.

Mahliqa After a long day moving house in the heat, we were hoping for a hearty meal. We ordered jollof rice, egusi with fufu, and pepper soup. The jollof? Meh - bland and stingy on the portion. The egusi? V.oily but full of flavour - honestly the star of the show. But then came the meat situation. Each dish had one real piece of meat. The rest? .. Unchewable slabs of skin and fat masquerading as food (pictured) - the disrespect. I get that cow skin is a thing but this one clearly missed its softening appointment. Atmosphere-wise, the music was club-level loud. We couldnt hear the staff, and they couldn’t hear us. Cleanliness was questionable (sticky tables), and the vibe among staff was more house party than hospitality. I won’t be back, but shoutout to the egusi for carrying the whole night. 2/5 for that alone.

George Chalhoub Great Lebanese food in Cowley. Fresh mezze, really good grilled meats, and proper flavours that actually taste like home. The mixed grill was solid and the hummus was smooth and well seasoned. Portions are generous and the staff are friendly without being over the top. Definitely one of the better spots for Lebanese food in Oxford

Alice Summers The chai latte and teas are quite nice! Food was okay too. We quite liked the butter chicken roll - didnt taste greasy and was flavourful. The Mogo chips was okay. Samosas were also okay. The waitress Sonja is very stressed as shes by herself at the front, dealing with takeaways as well. Theres another member of staff in the background presumably cooking. I think they need one more person really. We had a nice time and will definitely be back again. Thanks Sonja :)

Kenneth Lee Food is outstanding here and easily one of the best meals we have had in England so far. We had the prawn pasta which boasted of fresh prawns and a tasty base, as well as the fish and chips which had really delicious fries and juicy fish. There is also great finesse shown with the technique and herbs chosen. I am only staying a night at the hotel and wished I could stay one more night to try the other dishes for dinner! Well done!
