4 /5 Crispin Leung: Went for a special occasion with a large party and managed to get a table the night before. Food was absolutely delicious.
However, I would like to share my experience to manage your expectations.
I ordered a seafood stew, the menu said it came with potatoes and roasted vegetables. When the stew arrived, it was just the stew and nothing else. I asked about it, as it was shown on the menu, then after a bit of back and forth they took the stew away. (Why?)
They brought back the same stew after a long while, this time with a separate bowl of roast potatoes and vegetables.
By then my whole table had finished eating, which was disappointing, and the worst part was that they charged me £7.50 +service for it, without saying anything. I only noticed it after I paid but didn’t kick up a fuss because of the special occasion.
The waitress serving us was impolite and impatient. The second waitress basically yelled to get our attention for the bill.
Slightly disappointed as it would’ve otherwise been a really nice experience.
