4 /5 I H: Got some fresh seeded sourdough bread, which was really tasty. I would say price was not clear to see from the counter. Cashier wrapped this bread in the paper only, which did not do much.. Had to ask for a bag… Price is steep for the area - 5£. Overall, good experience, just not everyday place I would say

3 /5 Tom Tom: The food is lovely but OMG the prices of the viennoiserie. £5.80 for an eat-in choc & almond croissant? However nice it was this is a luxury not to be repeated. Also, please make your drink sizes bigger. There is a certain standard size to be expected and yours are tiny.

5 /5 Andy N.: Found Chez Maitre in the British Best bakeries book. Found it was not too far from Bromley, so popped in for some pastries and was not disappointed. Bread and baguettes looked amazing and I feel I missed out not buying some on this visit. I will be back to try them soon.

4 /5 Mike Jimmy: One of my go-to cafés after a walk. It’s cozy with simple, homey decor that gives a nice family vibe. The pastries are fresh and delicious with lots of options, is definitely the highlight! Staff are friendly, and the service is good. We ordered a latte and cappuccino, but both tasted a bit burnt. hope they improve on that. Overall, a great spot for pastries and a chill atmosphere.
