yvonne Patrick I came in for Vietnamese Pho(Noodle Soup) to keep the cold out, the service here is amazing , the server welcomed me on arrival and was very hospitable during my time here. The food was amazing and the art on the wall is breathtaking. I will definitely recommend and return to this establishment. If you’re having a hard time choosing from the menu she will give you great suggestions.

Tried 3 different dishes and cannot fault a single one, everything on the menu looked so tasty if we ever back in the area will definitely be coming back. Such a warm and cosy environment, you would think this is a family run business. The reviews do not do this place justice.

Joel Miller Stopped by The Phoenix recently and it’s genuinely one of the better bars I’ve been to around this area — easily deserves 5 stars. The place has a really easygoing feel to it. It’s lively enough to have a good atmosphere, but still chilled so you can actually relax and enjoy yourself. It just feels like a proper local spot where you’re comfortable straight away. Big shoutout to Sam as well — Sam was the best server there. He was absolutely amazing the whole time we were there. Really friendly, quick to help, and just made everything run smoothly without any fuss. Service like that honestly makes such a difference to your night. Another big plus is the prices. For London, they’re very good, and you actually feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. All in all, great vibes, great value, and standout service from Sam. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Leila Maria Ive been coming here since 2014 and the food and quality has been great consistently. The staff are lovely and accommodating and the food is just the best I dont care where I am. Pricing may be a bit higher than some nearby cafés. If I were recommending it: Go for a brunch or coffee meet-up with friends. The big breakfasts, pancakes and juice menu are strong. If you value photography / atmosphere, this place scores well (quirky décor + good light + outdoor). Try going a little earlier (say around 9-10 am) to avoid peak crowding and to get good seats outdoors (weather permitting). If youre after vegetarian/vegan options, it’s a good bet here. Ideal for a relaxed catch-up, working on a laptop or reading — but perhaps not the fastest service place if you’re in a rush.
