The staff were great, very friendly and helpful and we were able to take our dog on the boat too. The scenery is lovely and you really feel like you’ve escaped from the rest of the world for a little bit!

We hired a boat for an hour then had lunch at the cafe, everyone we encountered was SO friendly and polite, wonderful customer service from all. Food was delicious and I loved the Beavertown alcohol-free beer. Terry has got a super team down there, we’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend hiring a boat, we wish we had hired the boat for an extra hour or even the maximum you can hire! We will be sure to do this again! And if you’re lucky, you’ll see the seal! The cafe was also fantastic! We stopped off and had some brunch after our trip down the river Arun! Food was really good and the waiting staff were super friendly & lovely! Thank you

Tim Parsons Absolutely love what you guys are doing. The pub has a great quirky atmosphere and fantastic events. Great selection of food and drink (including a good range of non alcoholic options for drivers). The staff are very welcoming and friendly too.

Nicola Kirby We ordered a large lamb donner kebab with pitta and chilli sauce. There isnt an option for a seperate pot of sauce and unfortunately I added it anyway and way too much was put over the meat. The salad was forgotten also so that didnt help. Chips were lovely. . Meat was lovely.. Just needs an option for seperate sauce and to add what is advertised and it could do so well

Sara Montag Shahs Halal is one of my favorite spots when I’m in Uxbridge. The chicken salad box and falafel salad box were both amazing — the salad mix is super fresh, and the hot sauce definitely brings the heat! Great food, great prices, and really friendly service. Can’t recommend it enough!
