Paola De Paola Photography Review for Isla Terrace at The Standard, London I’d love to share my experience photographing a wedding at the wonderful Isla Terrace at The Standard, near St Pancras Station in London. I recently photographed the gorgeous celebration of Simon and Roddy, joined by their two adorable dogs. They had their official ceremony just a few minutes away at Camden Town Hall, then continued their day surrounded by friends and family at this truly unique venue. The Isla Terrace feels like a tropical haven in the heart of London, full of lush greenery, palms, and natural light. It has that beautiful greenhouse feel, warm and relaxing, yet so stylish and modern. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and it honestly felt as though we were somewhere far away and exotic. The team were exceptional, especially Hannah Hillier, the senior manager on the day, who was kind, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. Everything flowed beautifully, and the couple felt completely relaxed, which made the whole experience a joy to photograph. If you’re planning a wedding near Camden Town Hall and want a venue that’s modern, creative, and effortlessly elegant, I can’t recommend Isla Terrace enough. It’s pet-friendly, beautifully designed, and has that perfect balance of style and comfort. I can’t wait to return, it’s definitely one of London’s hidden gems. I love it!!!! Dario Ferro Goodfare in London is an Italian restaurant located in Camden, with a history dating back to 1959. It stands on the corner of Parkway and Arlington Road in Camden. There are also local anecdotes about its early years, such as the one about a waitress named Stella, whose reputation was so well known that the place was sometimes referred to by her name. Goodfare is considered a historic and much loved establishment in Camden. It serves traditional Italian pizzas and pasta dishes. Its long standing presence is a testament to the enduring tradition of Italian dining in London, which began to flourish significantly from the mid twentieth century. The most popular dishes at Goodfare Restaurant in Camden include Spaghetti Carbonara, a traditional Roman style pasta made with eggs, pancetta, and Parmesan cheese. Lasagna al Forno, layers of pasta, rich meat ragù, béchamel sauce, and melted cheese baked to perfection. Pizza Margherita, a simple yet flavorful pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil. Risotto ai Funghi, creamy risotto prepared with mixed mushrooms and finished with Parmesan. Chicken Milanese, breaded chicken breast served with salad or pasta, a customer favorite for lunch and dinner. Tiramisu, the classic Italian dessert made with mascarpone, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and cocoa. Cappuccino or Espresso is often praised as the perfect way to end the meal, maintaining the authentic Italian café vibe. The staff is very friendly and always ready to meet your needs. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, making it an excellent place for gatherings with friends and families. Absolutely recommended.

Akram Al-Jubouri Best lounge in London Ive been to for a while. Everything in this place is perfect.. tmosphere, food, shisha, service, staff, even the owners make you feel like home. Im definitely going back again there soon, one time wont be enough..

Kiran I celebrated my birthday at GAA Kings, and I genuinely could not have chosen a more perfect place. From the moment I walked in, the ambience was breathtaking — elegant, warm, intimate, and beautifully put together. The whole setting felt special, and the team went above and beyond to make the evening feel personal, even giving us a dedicated, private, quiet table that made the night feel truly my own. The food was exceptional — honestly even better than I expected. Every single dish was cooked with such care and depth of flavour. Even the simple things, like the glazed aubergine, tasted exquisite. And while some of the menu descriptions didn’t fully prepare us for how the dishes actually arrived (especially the lamb shank), the taste more than compensated — rich, tender, and full of flavour. It was the kind of food that makes you stop mid-conversation because it’s just that good. There were so many amazing options for vegans and vegetarians, which is something I always notice and appreciate. The standout for me was the British Burger — generously portioned, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly professional. They managed to be present without ever being intrusive, and they made the entire experience feel relaxed and seamless. The surroundings were beautiful, the energy was refined, and I felt so comfortable and celebrated — especially getting to wear such a lovely dress in such a lovely environment. All in all, GAA Kings made my birthday unforgettable. I always choose beautiful places for my celebrations, but this one genuinely stands out. I didn’t share the pictures of my friends, but I did share one of myself — and that alone says how happy and confident I felt in the space. Thank you for creating such a memorable evening.
