5 /5 Assyrian Foodie: We visited Atlantis Greek Restaurant on a lovely summers evening. We felt like we were on holiday. The ambience is very Greek without being overwhelmingly blue and white. You really feel like youre in a small town in Greece being served food that your mum has made.
We went for the 3 course meal which comes with a selection of starters, mains and baklava with ice-cream for dessert.
Everything was perfect. Its like youve gone to mums and shes made you a lovely meal. Very nostalgic flavours. And there is salt and pepper on the table, dont be afraid to use it. Home cooking means everyone has their own taste, so add more seasoning as you prefer. No one is going to roll eyes if you need a bit more salt.
The dolma was not canned. This made me happy. Im Assyrian and my partner is Armenian so we love Dolma, and Greek Dolma is usually just rice, lemon and dill in a vine leaf, but this was very tomatoe-y and flavoursome which is similar to how we make it.
Friendly staff, lovely vibes, good prices.
Come here and enjoy a lovely summer evening dinner.
