Muhammad Ali Abbasi We had a wonderful experience during our visit. Teja was our server and she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Nayeem, the chef, prepared a fantastic döner kebab – perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into the food here. Overall, great service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Ashir Ali We were traveling late at night during 1st Ramadan roza and passed by this shop on the high street. Google showed it as closed, but we decided to check anyway and we’re so glad we did! The shop was actually open until 5 AM for sehri, which was such a blessing for travelers like us. The food was fresh and delicious, and it felt really thoughtful that they stay open so late during Ramadan. Thank you so much for welcoming people at such hours and making our sehri special. Truly appreciated highly recommended during Ramadan!

Qays Arshid Hard to find a carribean gem like this in Barkingside. Food was excellent and friendly service too, will definitely be coming regularly.

Very convenient place for Thai food as there is not a lot nearby :)) Owner even came to talk to us and check everything was okay and everything was delightful x They also gave a birthday surprise cake for the birthday girl and played a song while everyone clapped - lovely experience!!

Valli Chock We had some Chappattis of different varieties (beetroot, coriander, sweet potato & plain) from Hema’s Kitchen. They were very Authentic, awesome, aromatic and tasty. All the ingredients used are vegan and high quality. The side dishes, tomato thokku & dhal were extraordinary and went well with the Chappathi. Hema has put her heart and love in making the food and would recommend everyone to give it a try.

Thanmai Reddy Had the chicken shawarma at Urban Chai and it was absolutely fantastic! The wrap was freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and packed with juicy, flavorful chicken and fresh veggies. Every bite was bursting with taste. The staff here deserve a special mention—they were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. From the warm welcome to the quick service, everything felt effortless and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re craving a delicious shawarma and great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back!
