Luke Herd A lovely café with a great menu and friendly staff. It felt like a family run business which cares about its customers. If I am in the area again this will be where I eat.

Merel Such a wonderful warm and friendly host, and the food is really delicious. The pastas are quite light so recommend to get some starters. The burrata was amazing.

Shaf Alam Staff were very attentive, atmosphere was mellow and the food was delicious. We tried...the fried salmon and prawn katsu roll which was crunchy and flavourful. The Korean wings which I didnt like the sauce so much of, but still good. The special fried rice was good too. The ramen was probably the best thing we had, it was very moreish. Mango lassi style shake was sensational. Hope it stays this good, we will be coming back soon!

Stu Farrelly *Excuse the potential rambling: Went here due to a TikTok video claiming the chicken burger (sandwich) is the best around which I mentioned to the very nice owner who served us. Carrying on in a drunk conversation I said to him that I am originally from Hythe and missed the massive butterflied 100% chicken sandwiches I used to get from a local kebab place, to which he replied "Hythe Kebab Centre?"... and goes on to say he actually opened it. So anyone who knows of and has eaten from HKC, can be sure CG are pretty much the same, except BETTER. The chips are out of this world, crispy and fluffy on the inside and the Chicken Sandwich is spot on, being identical to Hythes offering only in this case the Chicken is Juicier and not tough around the edges which you sometimes used to get at HKC. CG is a little bit cheaper as well. So glad we discovered this place, as I cannot emphasise how good the Chicken Sandwiches are, especially after a few drinkies!

K First time trying cornmeal porridge and did not disappoint, I recommend trying it. It has a buttery allspice undertone to it. I also had the jerk chicken and rice and peas. Jerk chicken was nice, got that aunty rizz to it. But the rice and peas are too dry in my opinion, needs a sauce as it was challenging to get through the portion. . I would note that staff do take there time when packaging the food, so if you are in a hurry it may not be ideal. Overall its a solid, authentic, restaurant that I recommend
