lukasz k We visited M&C in Portsmouth for a birthday dinner—it was our first time at this location, though we’ve been to the Bristol one before. The building looks great from the outside, but the real surprise is the interior. It’s fresh, cosy, and very welcoming. We were served by the lovely Maria, who made us feel right at home. She was fantastic throughout the evening! We ordered drinks, starters, and mains, and everything arrived promptly—drinks first, then our starters shortly after. We had halloumi fries and calamari, both absolutely delicious. About 20 minutes later, our mains arrived: a juicy medium-rare wagyu steak, sea bass, and a rump steak for our little one. Every dish was bursting with flavour. We might have gone overboard with the sides, but they were too tempting to resist. Overall, outstanding service, wonderful food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Shezmina Alibhai I have always been a bit reluctant to give a review....everythings too good and I dont want it to get too busy here. Best place to come for Indian food....depends on you but they can cater for all. My mums Kenyan....I love the food. Best dish...tandoori prawns but please dont tell anyone. Service is always excellent.

The atmosphere was lovely and the food even though they did not give options (it was just lamb) the food was not bad. They accommodated us and made the night lovely. Thank you!

Their tacos are delicious, the buns are super soft, and every dish tastes like it was made just for you. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast even when they’re busy. If you’re craving something tasty and satisfying, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

Queen Ibhas My friends and I had our graduation party here in January and it was such a fantastic experience. We were the first ones in as soon as they opened, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company before it got busy. The atmosphere was perfect, and the place was beautifully decorated for us, which made the celebration feel extra special. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and everything flowed smoothly throughout the night. The setup, the service, and the overall vibe made it a memorable occasion.
