What Clients Are Saying Denbies Gallery Restaurant (GG)
5 /5 Arup Kumar Das: With regard to dining establishments, I am very particular. The cuisine is exceptionally delicious. However, the restaurants service, ambiance, and view are what set it apart. The staff was exceptionally cordial and welcoming. We would most certainly return.
The only critique I have is that the lamb rump dish I placed an order for was somewhat difficult to chew. Kindly ensure that you are attentive.
5 /5 德行: I had lunch here yesterday without checking the Google rating first and was amazed by the excellent dishes. The ingredients, especially the beans, tasted wonderful and organic.
My husband and I ordered a single main course and a starter, as I wasnt keen on a large lunch. The kitchen kindly split them into smaller portions for us.
The service was absolutely first-class. I was genuinely sorry when I saw the rating, this restaurant certainly deserves at least a 4.5-4.7!
Absolutely will visit again!
2 /5 Arvind Verma: One of the starters looked and tasted like theyd been made by my 6 year old (the parmesan pie). The other starter (terrine) was adequate enough but the accompanying sourdough tasted like it had been left out for 2 days. The mains were much much better, so much so i asked if there were 2 chefs. Still on the dry side, but comparatively amazing.
Heard great things about this place, unfortunately i didnt have a great experience. Service was great
5 /5 Eva WAN: Back again — and just as lovely! The starter was beautifully presented. I really appreciate how the menu changes seasonally based on produce from nearby farms. Great ingredients, simply done right.
The hills this season are a painter’s dream.
4 /5 Felix Gan: Came to this restaurant for a different food experience. Went for the set lunch menu and the dishes were amazing. The lamb main course was done beautifully. The meat was tender and the mashed potato was done perfectly. The only suggestion I would give would be some homemade bread if any served with the starter. Would recommend others to come here if you want some lovely meal at a vineyard.
Anita Hersey Had a delicious roast and chocolate brownie dessert. Service was great - very friendly and attentive staff. Garden area is also lovely with picturesque views.
Annette Wright What a unique evening we had at the Ruby Supper Club. The food was ‘knockout.’ My husband is not adventurous in his food choices however the homemade food is so tasty and he loved it.The atmosphere was fantastic- cosy, chatty and the jazz singer was a real hit. The DJ and ‘maestro’ of the bar made us some equisite non alcoholic versions of the favourites. What a delight we hope to return time and time again.Next time we must stay on site at the Potting Shed. The location is beautiful.
Tom St. A very nicely executed British comfort food venue with something for everyone options. Atmosphere is nice, set in the Village section of the Beaverbrook resort, a five minute drive through the forest from the main house. Decoration very classic, and service from all staff excellent.
We had a new born baby in a pram and our dog, they were very accommodating and gave us a lovely corner table which had lots of space. They even gave our dog a bowl and his own tim of treats. The whole establishment is very child friendly (as is the whole Village section of the resort).
A nice addition to the two other restaurants and a very easy going setting but with the usual Beaverbrook touches.
Anna Le Ive been to Denbies several times and have always had a great experience. Today we took the outdoor tour of the vineyard and were escorted by Simon and Carol. We had such a fun and lovely afternoon in their care. We stayed for lunch which was delicious and had a browse in the shop, which always has the most beautiful items. If you go, dont forget the farm shop which is packed with great food. All staff are always so lovely and helpful.
Marina Sedgwick Enjoyed a meal here after walking our dog on Leith Hill. First popped into their little village shop, then went into the pub for a meal. A water bowl was already by the table for the dog, staff was welcoming and friendly. Good gluten free options and very nice food. Would definitely return next time we walk on Leith Hill.
Anna K Cozy and place neither have fresh made cakes with tea or coffee, or having food from the canteen. Besides, you got little shops where you got all kinds of gifts, especially what I like was own made soap, candles, etc - love some lux fragrance soap I got myself.
Recommend.
