Fillings Sutton Indian Pakistani Restaurant - Sutton

M ILY Hidden Jem... BEST Halva Puri and proper Karak chai in Sutton. This place is special, Ive been walking past it for years thinking its a loaded potatoes place as its called "Fillings", then however I saw a poster of Halva Puri on the window and went in, they have the most amazing Halva Puri breakfast offer on at the moment, TWO Halva Puri breakfasts for the price of one(ÂŁ7.50 at the time of this review)!!! The fried puris are fresh, you get small portions channa, potatoe/aubergine and halva, just enough for the two puris, very authentic and tasty. Order a karak chai with that and you have a complete tasty breakfast. 2 people can have breakfast with tea for around ÂŁ12.50!! They also make very tasty samosa and aloo tikki chaats, their biryanis also look great... and all that with a FIVE STAR HYGIENE RATING!! Go before others discover this hidden gem and it becomes too busy!!!

Summit to Sea I’m a bit “old fashioned” and being at sea nearly 35 years I do like a good maritime pub. I’ve been in Portsmouth 3 months and I have enjoyed the service and food here at the Ship A! The staff work hard and at times are ran ragged. This is a proud pub with its roots in maritime heritage and the Union flag. Love this place so much I bought the T-shirt.

A Wan The food was amazing, this is the second time I went and the presentation and taste was I would give a 10/10. The atmosphere and decor was beautifully kept with notes of Nigerian culture and hints of Peckham culture. Will definitely come again!

Saam N This is absolutely a must-visit spot for food lovers! My husband and I have been here several times, and every visit has been consistently fantastic. Some of the dishes and drinks we’ve enjoyed include: * Beef Rendang (honestly the best I’ve had in London!) * Nasi Lemak (chicken) * Nasi Goreng (prawn) * Curry Laksa (prawn and chicken) * Crispy Chicken Wings (crispy and piping hot) * Acar Nenas * Roti with daal Drinks: Teh Tarik, Bandung (my favourite), and Lemonade with mint leaf. Everything tastes incredible and genuinely authentic—just like the food I’ve had in Malaysia. You can really tell everything is freshly prepared in the kitchen. The portion sizes are very generous too; we always end up leaving with a takeaway bag. The restaurant itself is small but has such a warm, homely atmosphere that truly reminds me of dining in Malaysia. The beef rendang is especially outstanding when paired with roti. I’ve tried rendang at many places across London, but this one stands out—Normah does it best. The meat is always tender and the flavour is consistently rich and delicious. I was there just yesterday and already planning to go back next week. Definitely worth taking the time to secure a booking!

The Old Red Lion -

Jonathan Ward We went to the Old Red Lion for Sunday lunch and like many reviewers, we were not disappointed. All staff we interacted with were friendly and smiled, and the Sunday Roast options are without question the best we have sampled around this area. Fresh and very good quality food is served. A good range of wines are offered, and lovely desserts topped off our visit!
