Claire Mendonca-Yeboah An unassuming restaurant on the main road. We went in as a family of 4 without a booking at about 6.30pm on Valentines Day and they were able to accommodate us straight away. We shared butter chicken curry, goat curry and lamb vindaloo, pilau rice, keema naan, tandoori roti and butter naan. The food was absolutely delicious and we pretty much finished everything we ordered. The tandoori roti was too crispy for our liking (the only slight criticism - the children and I prefer it much more soft and fluffy). Staff are attentive, service is reasonably quick and the restaurant itself is decorated in keeping with its name. It was very quiet when we went in for about the first 30mins as there were no other guests and the restaurant doesnt play any music but it soon picked up post 7pm. We will definitely go again as the food was really good.

Santhosh KJ After a long time, returning to Sravs Kitchen on Portswood Road for dinner felt both comforting and memorable, delivering a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. The chilli chicken was bursting with flavor, perfectly spicy with a well-balanced sauce that coated each tender piece, making it an absolute delight. The chicken 65 was equally impressive, crispy on the outside yet succulent inside, with a subtle heat and aromatic seasoning that lingered pleasantly. The lamb biryani was a true highlight of the meal, rich in aroma and depth, with perfectly cooked lamb that was soft and flavorful, blended beautifully with fragrant basmati rice and traditional spices. The Kerala paratha was soft, flaky, and fresh, complementing the curries wonderfully, while the dosa was light, crisp, and expertly prepared, adding an authentic South Indian touch to the spread. Beyond the food, the service played a significant role in elevating the experience, as the staff were warm, courteous, and attentive, ensuring everything was served promptly and checking in regularly with genuine care, making the evening feel relaxed, welcoming, and truly worth revisiting.

Judd Gonzales also known as "Grill House Surrey" on justeat. The fried chicken was hot and fresh. I love the seasoning of the chicken, better than morleys and sams chicken shop.chicken was also not super greasy. the chicken skins is super crispy!! I prefer if you guys use less salt though. like 30% less salt please. The burger was cooked to perfection. Buns hot and crispy on the inside, not soggy and wet. well seasoned chicken. chickens wings size are also big compared to other chicken shop like morleys and sams chicken. Also the pricing is amazing compared to other chicken shop. Definitely not overpriced! 10/10 this is my go to chicken shop now. ordered twice from them now. Sarah H We went to Galvin La Chapelle for the lunch tasting menu. It was a beautiful restaurant with a warm and stylish decor. The bare ceiling made it especially interesting and a contrast to the aesthetic of the rest of the restaurant. It looks like it may have been a church. The staff were very attentive and explained each course. The food itself was very interesting with a mixture of flavours and textures which were delightful. I would love to return to try their a la carte menu. Overall, a very pleasant lunch.

Joseph Incredibly authentic and amazing tasting gyros and souvlaki wraps, all with generous portions and priced very fairly. The staff are super friendly and able to take special orders with no problems, and are very quick to give you your delicious food. There is also vegetarian (and vegan!) options which I am told tasted "very very good". Hundred percent recommended if you want to taste truly authentic Greek souvlakia.

Raj Jas Such a lovely restaurant. Could have an amazing party here as theres so much room and the decor is gorgeous! Its like walking into a wonderland. The staff member who served us was friendly and professional. We had a meze - which was delicious and substantial. Would definitely go there again.
