Bob D I went there with my partner for a quick breakfast and I was very impressed with the food it is not a greasy spoon it is way above that the food is good quality, we had an English Breakfast and it was great with good quality sausage and bacon and lovely toast and the best part it was not greasy. I would highly recommend this cafe and it is also good value for money.

Shelly Ali I went with a couple of friends on 12th Sept. The staff were really polite, patient and very helpful. The food was on point. My steak was cooked perfectly and the mash was absolutely delish! A relaxed vibe and a great place to visit with family or friends. Super easy to get to via public transport, only a 5 minute walk from Whitechapel station. Definitely plan on visiting again with the family.

Aidan Magson We went to the Ivy Canterbury for lunch on a Friday. We had the avocado puree, sourdough bread and arancini as appetizers, it was all very good food. We had the cheese souffle and duck salad as starters. The duck salad was excellent, I would get this again. I couldnt help but think the cheese souffle was too similar to an omelette to be called anything else. For mains we ate scallop and prawn linguine and the Moroccan chicken. We were actually full before we even got to the mains, but the mains were lovely. We had Fiona serve us and couldnt have asked for better service, she was attentive and polite, every course came out in a timely manner. We also had two lagers each and a still water for the table. Overall, the meal was worth what we paid but you get what you pay for at this restaurant, I would go back again to try some of the other options on the menu.

Finnuala Q Had a selection of tapas and some nice wine at this lovely Spanish restaurant. Good selection of tapas from croquetas to prawns and Iberico ham. Nice to get about 2-3 per person and share plates.

Marco Nicolis This an exceptional restaurant, five stars through and through. The decor is simple and elegant, wood everywhere. Cutlery is contained in a small drawer on each side of the wooden table, very fashionable and handy. The food is amazingly put together and technically very well executed. Cocktails were also fantastic. Even the bathroom is five stars, with an old sink and two separate faucets conveying a classic look to the place.

Tom Dyer Went along for the breakfast muffin and it didn’t disappoint. 10/10. Now to find time to go back for the lunch menu.
