What Clients Are Saying FIRST FLOOR BAR & DINING (GG)
4 /5 Hugo: The dining area is located upstairs. Sit down, look at the menu and order at the bar.
4 /5 Lesley Bonsky: We enjoyed our meal here. The pints were great. The food was pretty good too. Perfect spot for a meal before seeing Hamilton next door.
1 /5 Hak Van der Sijp: The Gintonic that I had was not good, contained hardly any gin. For dinner we had a Korean burger (chicken, cheese and beacon) and an Angus burger, both with chips. Really terrible, both. I do not know that was used for cheese and beacon. The beacon was totally burned and the cheese tasteless. The chips were tasteless as well. We left without eating much. Take a beer, but skip dinner and mixed drinks.
1 /5 Francis Eastwood: Worst Mojito ever! Lots of ice and sparkling water. No lime, no brown sugar, hardly any rum.
Eve Wale Lovely bowl as always! I built my own bowl and all of the toppings were great. Shout out to Wesley- he was a great host. Very friendly and speedy service.
Dee Doran Just eaten here this evening. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, very helpful staff being my first time eating Jamaican food, delicious. Highly recommend.
Rhonda Williams We went for New years Eve and it was a great decision. The set menu was filled with enticing choices. We started with a gin based aperitif which was included. Very nice. Then there was an amazing amuse bouche, followed by a delightful selection of starters. I had an outstanding lamb dish. A mid course beetroot cake with house made fruit ketchup was a perfectset up for our main courses. I hade grilled Tiger Shrimp which was out of this world. There was naan, raita and dhal for the table. Finally I finished with a chocolate ganache accompanied by a lime basil sorbet that I will try to reproduce at home.
The service was never rushed, and was impeccable. There was also a small jazz band with a great singer playing all evening. We ended with a glass of sparkling wine each before heading home after midnight.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening! It was pricy when wine and beer and a tip were added.
Anna Gurung Came here for lunch on a Sunday - the staff were super friendly and the food was honestly some of the best I’ve had.
Highly recommend the carbonara (phenomenal) but everything we tried was genuinely amazing.
Super cozy and family friendly. Great selection on menu and top notch service. Will definitely be returning!
Stephen Sherman Wow wow wow! We are very particular about our food but Home SW13 blew us away! From the moment we walked in Alan the Manager and Lottie our lovely server were straight on it! A lovely cocktail to get things going and then a warm up with the cauliflower cheese croquettes. To die for! We then shared the mussels - a great choice and just the right level of chilli hit in a fragrant coconut broth with hints of lemon grass. And then the Main Event. That Shrimp Burger and the Pork Belly - which was the best I’ve ever tasted - crispy, salty and tender, accompanied by creamy mash, spinach and a jus that was spot on. And to top it all off we shared a complimentary cheesecake that was very kindly decorated with best wishes to the birthday girl. A very varied wine list helped wash things down! A hidden gem in the heart of Barnes. We will be back!
