1 /5 Lyza Aguilar: Extremely Disappointing Experience
We tried this restaurant because of the good reviews, but unfortunately, it turned into a complete disaster.
When we arrived before 12pm the place was empty, so we assumed the food would come out quickly. We ordered calamari and tempura for starters. They took 15minutes to arrive and were barely warm. The calamari was mostly breading with very little actual seafood — definitely not worth the wait.
For our mains, we ordered two pho soups. This is where things really went downhill. We waited 45 minutes and watched other customers — who arrived after us — receive their food first. After waiting far too long for what is essentially a bowl of soup, we called the server over to ask for the bill. He told us he would “get the food for us.”
The pho finally arrived— over an hour after we were seated. At that point, we had completely lost our appetite. There was no apology, no explanation, and no sense of urgency from the staff. It felt like our order had been forgotten, and instead of acknowledging the mistake, it was simply brushed off.
We paid but didn’t even eat the pho. After waiting that long, how could anyone still have the appetite?
Overall, the experience was utterly ridiculous — poor service, long waits, and no accountability. Definitely not a place we would return to.
