Seriously, not only did Caravan Tech fit me in for pressing work on my motorhome, at very short notice, Ian bussed me the short journey to the Merriments Café. Where we got a very dog-friendly welcome and settled into a log-burner heated snug with leather sofas and chairs. The rising price of coffees is not confined to this place, however. A popular venue which comprises tiled floors, country pine tables and some imaginative use of umbrellas hung from the conservatory-styled roof, to combat heat gain. Decent Wi-Fi helps, too. At the time of writing the early stages of the project plan to move the CT side of the business to this site is evident. My experience of both the café, the sale of equipment and spares and the workshop have been exemplary. Kudos. There is a baked goods display and a kitchen turning out food which seemed to go down just fine. I will happily return

peter bannon My wife brought me here as a surprise on Thursday, to be honest I didn’t know this place was open. All I can say, what a fantastic place to go to for great food and beer, wine and cocktails. The burger was absolutely fantastic along with the dirty fries. And then decided to try the chicken wings, and again not disappointed. Good selection of beers and Guinness in tap. The wine was good also. The staff were very friendly and nice. We will definitely come again soon. Thankyou

Kate Dalton The food here is amazing and in our opinion the best Indian restaurant in the area. There was a long wait for the food, but the restaurant was busy which we took as a good sign. We didnt mind waiting as we were having a lovely evening and the food was worth the wait.

S Keep Amazing fresh pizzas with a great range of toppings and reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and welcoming, adapting the order to our requirements without hesitation. Seems to get busy, so worth booking in advance at busy times. The vegetarians in our group were particularly happy that there were a variety of options for them.

SUSAN BELCHER Today 11th Feb 2026 Zest resturant after the funeral of my Husband, laid on a splendid spread for 20 people, waited on us all kept the food coming all afternoon as well as making sure we were topped up with tea and coffee other drinks being available at the counter.I would recomend them to all. Dion Spikes Had a great Sunday roast at the Stile Bridge. Felt the food more than merited the prices charged. Service was warm, friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend and will go again.
