5 /5 Michael’s Reviews: Got for it…Spices! Margaritas! Tacos! Hies has it all. I did feel like the sauces were compensating for a lack of flavor in the protein, but overall the tacos were tasty. Homie feels like a great place to sit down and enjoy a pitcher of margaritas and laughter with friends. I wouldn’t recommend it for a quiet, intimate evening. I think it’s a fun environment with inventive takes on creative tacos.

5 /5 Kelly Avis-Hay: Service, food and drinks were excellent! The whole team were so welcoming and the food is insanely good and very reasonably priced! Could not pick a top dish, it was all amazing!

4 /5 Rafeeul Karim: This is at the moment my favorite Mexican place to eat at. I dont really enjoy Mexican food but this one hit the spot -Food was great, decent price, great fresh flavours and the tacos were juicy. The only issue I have is I wish there were more halal options because I think only the chicken was halal. - service was bit underpar, mainly because its so busy theres loads of tables but we even though with a booking had to come back 30/40min later. Then ordering the food waited over an hour for it. They bring out food randomly and not all together so we all ate at different times. - atmosphere was great, the decor and vibe was really good, parking isnt too much of an issue past 630pm. They were busy on Saturday night so it was a tiny bit cramped for space. Overall a solid 4/5 definitely worth the trip. (was hungry I forgot to take pics)

5 /5 Jordan Walker: I genuinely don’t think I can put into words how incredible my experience was at Homies on Donkey’s. They take Mexican food to an almost fine dining level of cuisine. Attention to detail is apparent on every dish. Not only this, but they have a cocktail menu that is just spot on and compliments the dishes perfectly. The restaurant is divided by a wall that creates a cozy atmosphere on both sides. Both with a direct view into the kitchen and bar area. Price wise, you’re not breaking the bank. Most dishes are between £8-12 for two tacos. Great vegetarian options and gluten-free too. A must-go for any East Londoner. A must-try for any other Londoner.
