3 /5 Lynne Birkett: Booked as we visited Brooklands which was a short drive. Quiet room at back and breakfast and evening meal nice. Typical prices for Down South Im afraid....but pleasant stay.

5 /5 Nicky Checkley: A great hotel in a good location. Lovely welcoming bar with a fantastic food menu. The staff were efficient and friendly. And such great value for money! The room was larger than expected with a huge comfy bed and a bathroom with a good shower. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

We choose from the Special Weekday Menu of salt & pepper squid starter followed by Signature Pork Duo , delicious! We will definitely be back !

5 /5 Graham trett: What a experience myself and partner had as soon as we walked through the door. The staff were amazing. A special mention for Fraser who attended to our eery need from when we arrived to when we vacated. Every member of staff we met were very pleasant, helpful. The room was amazing, we had the family room. Very comfortable and the food was top class. Cant wait to stay there again.

Room 110 is a nice sized room with a good Super-kingsize bed, however the carpet is filthy, the bathroom is very tired and needs a good tidy, bog crack running along the LHS wall which was there in November last year as I stayed in this same room! The grout has black mould in the shower - bleach would sort this out... the towel radiator would not work - I tried the outside switch both ways, the big lamp on the desk would not work, I tried the plug in other outlets, BBC 1 on the TV has no sound - same as last year when I stayed in this room, you could do with a luggage fold out rack in this room as the desk was pushed up to the hangers and I wasnt about to start moving furniture! additional hooks would be handy on the wall/alcove on the door opening wall for handy hanging space. Tea/Milk/sweetener not replenished on the Sunday morning room clean, arrived back near midnight so no staff around to ask. The biggest disaster was the breakfast.... a table with a choice of cereal, small pots of yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries and bread/muffins/crumpets with a toaster to do ones own, butter and condiments would be better than what is offered on the menu - we had the classic breakfast and ordered porridge - well I could have used the stodge that was served as mortar it was that thick, made with water so it was tasteless, asked for honey to see if that would make an improvement, given1 small sachet/packet each but it didnt so abandoned that, the blueberry muffin was stale as anything, it had been popped in the microwave to warm up and hopefully soften by the breakfast chef but the inside was like a tough sows ear, the yogurt was fine as was the fruit cup and croissant, there was toast - asked for brown, got white, no condiments offered just hard cold butter straight from the fridge. Hardly any water in the hot water canteen, hours old coffee in the filter pot, no coffee cups. Asked for toast on the first mornings breakfast, that never materialised (staff busy setting up for a wedding?). I chose this property as I had stayed before albeit I did room only previously, and because it is close to where my son lives - his girlfriends parents usually stay there and said how good the food was.... its great for location, parking and night entry but is really let down by the food.
