2 /5 Peter Yeo: A mixed bag, earning 2 stars. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and my wife absolutely loved her mixed rice dish, which was a clear highlight. Unfortunately, our food experience was inconsistent. The mixed grill was disappointing; the pork was as hard as cardboard and the chicken was quite dry. On the other hand, the sausage was good and the steak was nicely seasoned, although it was very thin. The service was also a letdown. We waited so long for the bill that we eventually gave up and paid at the bar. To top it off, the automatic service charge felt particularly frustrating given the slow service. I strongly feel that a service charge should be optional and that staff should be paid a fair wage by increasing food prices instead.

5 /5 Miss K: Flavourful food, great portions and great staff. What more can you ask for? The 3 course meal was great value (£34.50) and I left feeling stuffed with leftovers. I was recommended the prawn dish by Irene and I was not disappointed. Irene made our visit special and it certainly won’t be the last time I come.

5 /5 Tega Ed: Great food options! So large. We ate and took some home Nice and tasty too. Ambience was good. Great customer service, she greeted everyone with a smile on her face and seated you well. And of course their happy hour drinks? Simple awesome!

4 /5 Chonsie G: Latin House is a small, cosy, and nicely decorated restaurant. We went for the 3-course meal deal and everything was well organised and timed perfectly — the photos really say it all. We just missed happy hour as it was a last-minute reservation, but it runs from 5–7pm with 2 cocktails for £12, which is great value. I ordered one cocktail and it was a bit of a creeper — very nice, and you feel it later. Would’ve happily had another if I wasn’t driving. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely somewhere I’d return to.
