4 /5 Anya T: A cute and cosy restaurant with an open-plan kitchen, letting diners watch the chefs at work. The food was delicious and creative, with prices on the higher side.
One thing to note: I was simply taking photos of the overall ambience of the open kitchen, not of any specific chef or sous chef, when a team member tapped my shoulder to say I needed permission. While polite, it felt a bit passive- aggressive, especially since the open kitchen is clearly meant to be the highlight of the restaurant and part of the experience.
Given that the beautifully decorated open kitchen is a key reason people visit, as seen in countless reviews (eg. Google, TikTok, Instagram, etc) this rule felt out of place and left an odd vibe.
