Samuel Eyre If you are looking for a relaxing break this is the place. We went for valentines weekend and were instantly able to switch off from our busy lives in London. Matt and the team went above and beyond to help us feel settled. Rooms are incredibly cosy bed very comfortable and food out of this world. Recommend sticky toffee pudding. Loads of great walks nearby as well. Thank you stag on the river we will be coming back

Debi Just don’t get the bad reviews. We’ve been going Ossies for years and live out of town. We come up specially for it. The goat was sublime. So much food in the container. They aren’t shy with packing it out. We sat in to eat. Found the staff friendly. Happy to give me more gravy to take my leftovers home. As just could not eat it all. My husband had oxtail with rice n peas and was very happy with it. They now take card payment as well as cash which is handy. We had some lovely chats with other customers. We’ve never had a bad food from here. If we had. We sure wouldn’t be going back. I believe you treat people how you would like to be treated yourself a bit of respect and politeness goes a long way. Remember that’s some long shifts the staff are working there !!

Francesca Monaco Finally, a gluten‑free Chinese takeaway that tastes fantastic! We were really craving some comfort food, and this did not disappoint. We were advised to call before ordering, and the member of staff was incredibly polite and patient, clearly explaining how they handle allergens. We were genuinely impressed and will absolutely be ordering again.

Lucy H Popped into A2B vegetarian restaurant yesterday for the first time and on first impressions the place is very smart. We waited only a short time to be seated and had enough time to look at the extensive menu before staff came over to take our order. We ordered a cheese dosa, dal and a roti, alongside a lime juice and chai, all of which was delicious and filling. Overall the staff are friendly and the service was extremely efficient. The prices were reasonable, our total bill came to ÂŁ22, so would definitely recommend a visit. A2B is only a short walk from East Ham station.
