Kwex Had a great time here with a few friends. Exceptional service, good music and very competitive prices. They have healthy food portions and fancy plates. The restaurant is usually busy on Friday (and I understand on weekends too), so best to reserve a table to guarantee a seat! Was looked after my Nikki who provided an excellent service. One area of improvement is the waiting time for the meal to come out. I guess with the great music in the background, you might not notice youve been waiting half an hour for your food to turn up! Well done guys. Five star treatment.

FM-N We discovered Afrikana as its on our local takeout list. The food is always always top notch. So we decided to celebrate a birthday at Afrikana, we had to book by email as we were a larger party (7 people). We then turned up early to boot. But everyone was welcoming and our table was ready for us immediately. We ordered the ‘meat again’ as a shared plate, the ‘just kebabin’ with lamb and ‘we goat your back’ which is a family favourite and so delicious. We also ordered the loaded mac n cheese for the pasta freak in the group (who was also the birthday person). And extra plantain because I love plantain, and hummus which was served with the softest most delicious pita. We also had pretty much one of every mocktail, they were all delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not too loud, so we could hear eachother and talk comfortably, the food was fresh and tasty. We ate till we almost popped. Shout out for the desserts, we had one of each of those too. They were all a taste sensation. Special thanks to the amazing wait staff, who were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough, even tho we turned up early with a massive party (really sorry about that). The food was amazing atmosphere was lovely, and all at a very reasonable price. If you’re celebrating or want to eat out somewhere that makes delicious food this is the place for you. Special mention for the Afrikana fries, if you like slightly hot piquant sauce this ones for you

Khalid Abdul Aziz Stopped off for a random munch here and was really pleased with the food quality, portions and service. A GDK type of business model/clone but slightly cheaper and larger portions. Thoroughly recommend this place. The Naga Doner was really nice but a little too spicy for me. Returned a week later and was NOT disappointed once again, tried the fried chicken as well. Really nice and would recommend the sandwiches and the fried chicken.

Negath Manzoor I came across this place by chance and will now ditch the other place I was getting Jollofrice from. Each bite was so rich and full of flavour. Some places that sell Jollofrice, they have a slight bitter taste, this was not the case. I bought Jollofrice, Plantain and Puff Puff. All perfect. I wanted to add I went for my 2nd visit today, 12 Feb. Even more deliciousness, for the first time I was able to buy gorgeous stew without meat and rice. Again all of the food is delicious, home made.

Esa Ikram I drove 40 mins for the food and when I tell you it was worth it. That doesn’t begin to cover it. We ordered on the way and the food was ready for us and piping hot. Not only was the food good the parking was also convenient and there is a masjid opposite. The smash burgers were 10/10 definitely one of the best I’ve had. If smash burgers aren’t your thing there are soo many options, including meaty halal pizzas and Karan chai. It’s probably worth noting as well that my wife often doesn’t finish her burgers and today she did اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ. This will be a new spot for us.

Kyan Salim One of the best chicken shops i have had in years. The service here is very fast. All the people in here is very kind and helpful.the food in here is outstanding, with cheap prices. All the burgers in here like the fillet of flame and super box is amazing. The wings in here is lovely as well. Definitely recommend.
