5 /5 Václav Pavlík: Found this gem and the Japanese food is incredible! I had the Beef & Kimchi Okonomiyaki and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Yuzu cheesecake was good, but tiny. The restaurant has a really authentic Japanese-style interior and I loved the open kitchen setup where you can see the chefs at work. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for a tasty, atmospheric meal. Highly recommend!

4 /5 Christine Kim: I’ve visited a few times before but this experience was definitely better than my last couple of visits. We came as a bigger group and came for lunch and shared the edamame, padron peppers (both decent), butter and soy sweetcorn (this was great), prawn gyoza, vegetable gyoza, onasu (the aubergine was a bit bitter), spicy miso okra (good) and I had the spicy miso prawn udon (lacked a bit of flavour but it was still hearty).

The food was delicious, with a wide selection of dishes and plenty of options to customize your meal (for example, you can swap squid for beef or even tofu). The staff was very friendly. Keep in mind that the restaurant is small, so you may not be seated without a reservation. We didn’t have one, but the hostess kindly found us a table—however, during busy hours, this might not be possible.

5 /5 LiJen Leong: Been a while since Ive dined at thus branch, food was still excellent. I had the pork okonomiyaki which was excellent! Wish I couldve had more food but I was stuffed. It was perfect for a quick meal and still reasonablypriced: £13 for the basic +£2 for the extra egg. Have also been to the Brixton Village branch, same high standards. Highly recommend for a quick bite or more, if you can fit it in!

5 /5 Jack Devereaux: The food was delicious. Watching the chefs prepare the dishes in the grill only made us hungrier. The staff were all friendly, helpful and hard working. Enjoying the fantastic okonomiyaki surrounded by Otans brilliant decor makes for a wonderful dining experience.
