Elias P Not only is the food really incredible, but the service is really full of love. They always do their best to find as a table, even though it’s fully booked. We had the special sole fish; daal, paratha, keema, prawns and for starters the puri. It was like a trip to india. If you’re not a fan of alcohol you should definitely try the coconut ginger lassi. It’s a family-run café and you really feel that warmth every time you walk in — the staff are genuinely welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is consistently amazing, especially the breakfasts, which are some of the best in Brixton. Everything is always fresh, well-cooked and generous, and it’s the kind of place you can rely on every single time. I’ve brought friends and family here over the years and it’s always the first place I recommend. I also love that they now have a bar in the evenings — the cocktails and atmosphere are brilliant and it’s become my go-to spot before and after gigs. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Always leave happy, full, and already planning the next visit.

Alfie Whitten I came in today to get a Matcha latte, and although I felt that the drinks (i got a matcha latte and a beer) were rather on the expensive side, it was no matter as I was met with lovely service from the young woman (purple hair) working. The drinks were made quickly and well. She was well mannered and a great server, very friendly and a brilliant rep for the place.
