Simon Fisher A second visit this week as we were so impressed by the Sunday carvery. Friday is pie day, (2 for £20 at the time of writing!) I had the most amazing beef and Guinness pie served with mustard mash and a red wine gravy. You get a choice mash, my wife had horseradish, both were delicious! All food is prepared in house! Good wholesome nosh! (Check out the carvery - see other reviews!) Recommend both!! Recommend booking as it was very busy!

Charlotte Costello Honestly this exceeded all my expectations. The staff are beyond friendly, it’s a clean and well run place. Food and drinks all very reasonably priced. The bar had a wide variety of alcohols and soft drinks. We stopped in for an early lunch and wasn’t dissapointed! We will be returning for sure and I highly recommend this place for families.

Sarah Archer-palmer I had a surprise birthday last Saturday organised by my daughter. It was for 22 people, preordered food & wine. Unfortunately 5 people couldn’t come but the staff, especially JP and Alex, went out of their way to change the tables, move chairs etc, relay everything. It was quick, efficient and calm. They took over everything. The food was excellent, I had fish & chips. The chef was very flexible with timings and all food came out at once. I know everyone enjoyed their meal as there were lots of compliments! The rugby was on the TVs but didn’t overbear our table and lots of us enjoyed it in the background. This encouraged the fun, laid back atmosphere. The end of the evening was relaxed with making payments and the flexibility to chop and change was very appreciated. Hannah had an excellent team which goes to show she is an excellent manager. We are locals and really enjoyed showing off The Drummond in all her updated glory to my close friends and family. Joshua Davis We always order cakes from Le Moulin for special occasions and they never disappoint. Helen and her team provide excellent customer service and make every visit feel welcoming. The cakes are always top quality, and I have to mention the sausage rolls too, they’re some of the best I’ve had. A great place all round.

Paul Rudd We had a great time. We got a booth for the four of us pretty much straightaway. The kids loved it. The food was really nice. The venue had a nice atmosphere. Scoring the shots was great fun. Highly recommend.

Jamie-Lee Rudrum Absolutely incredible food in an incredibly quirky setting. Food was fresh and service was quick. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Im a fussy eater and dont like spicy food so loved that I could choose how hot I wanted my meal, from mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Couldnt fault a thing!
