5 /5 Zak Thompson: I have had a takeaway from The Red fort Gurkha plenty of times which is always amazing! Infact it’s so nice I wouldn’t bother trying any other places. My wife hadn’t eaten a curry in 10 years and when we tried here we ended up having it 3 weekends in a row!! However on this occasion we went to eat in the restaurant which was fantastic for my brother in laws birthday! Amazing food, amazing staff! Great atmosphere! Heavily recommend the Himalayan 5 spice curry its flavour profile is crazy! Definitely will be returning soon! GIVE IT A GO YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was friendly and personal, and the service throughout was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with care. A special mention for the sizzling chicken and mushroom rice, which was outstanding and thoughtfully remembered from a previous visit. It’s touches like this that really set the restaurant apart. A lovely atmosphere, great food, and attentive staff made it a very enjoyable experience for our whole family. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Red Fort Gurkha to anyone looking for high-quality Indian/Nepalese cuisine in the area.

5 /5 Pradeep Singh: We recently visited a place around East Peckham and found out this place, Red Fort Gurkha, is like, totally different now. Seriously, if you havent been lately, youre missing out. Theyve got new owners, and theyve completely redone the whole place. As soon as we walked in, we were like, "Wow!" It felt so much nicer. Theyve done a really good job with the decorations, its all warm and cozy, perfect for just chilling with friends or even if youre celebrating something special. Its got that nice mix of modern and traditional, which is cool. But honestly, the food is the thing that really blew us away. They do this mix of Nepali and Indian food, and its just amazing. Every dish was packed with flavour, you could tell they used really good spices and fresh stuff. It wasnt just your regular curry, you could taste the difference. It was like, layers of flavour, and we just couldnt get enough. And those spices! You could really tell they were top-notch. It made everything taste so much better. Its not like your average curry house, thats for sure. The people working there were so nice too. Really friendly and helpful, they made us feel right at home. They were always checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed. Oh, and theyve got loads of parking, which is a big plus around there. They’ve thought of everything, even the chairs were comfy! If youre looking for somewhere really good to eat, youve got to try Red Fort Gurkha. Seriously, visit this place while youre around and you wont be disappointed. Its like theyve given the place a whole new life, and its definitely worth checking out. We absolutely loved it!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely should visit more often. Highly recommended!
