Tortoise Buffet Cozy little place! Went there for a friend’s birthday and I want to give this place 5 stars based on just service alone. The food looked and tastes amazing but it was how nice and welcoming the staff was that really blew me away. We just mentioned that it was our friend’s birthday and they made her dessert extra special and brought out limoncello shots for the table. It was such a wholesome night and the staff made the celebration extra special. One last note, the decor in the restaurant is gorgeous!! Thank you for an amazing night!

Kamran Moghul What a wonderful dining experience. The food, staff, service and ambience of this restaurant is definitely premium end. We found this restaurant a great location to host our Daughters 17th Birthday A huge thank you to the Manager Savio for the hospitality and a special mention for Yogesh for his exceptional service. You both made it a memorable occasion for us Thank you kindly Kamran Moghul

Doug W Being a visitor to Britain I was looking for a place to enjoy a breakfast more like those I can enjoy at home. Waffle Jacks met that wish. I enjoyed an omelet and even tried a 1/4 waffle. The proprietor was very welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The coffee was good too, but unlike an American diner (or a Canadian one, some I’m a Canuck) they don’t offer drip coffee. The restaurant is very small, but they make extraordinary use of their limited space and people seem to roll with it. The service was top notch, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The only negative I can offer is the small size of the establishment, but really they manage that well. I don’t throw out 5 stars everywhere, but when I do they’ve earned it. I went out of my way to visit here , a long way out of my way, and it was worth the effort.

H A Absolutely lovely dinner. Authentic and traditional Indian food, went to celebrate my father’s birthday. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. All the food was great, highly recommend the the three way chicken and naan was so soft. Would definitely come back again and affordable prices. Good value for money and we all left stuffed.

Charlie A great choice for a family brunch / lunch - lots of great choices for seating, relaxed, unhurried and really warm service! There was genuinely something for everyone on the menu - the add ons and extras were generous portion wise and these felt like decent value for money. The childrens menu was from about £12 but again portions good and ingredients good quality. Coffee was superb, food was excellent and staff lovely. The whole place was pristine (including the toilets!) and we felt really comfortable throughout our lunch. Next time we would consider the bottomless drinks options ... £25 for 90mins!
