5 /5 Rupert Harvey: Had a fantastic dinner at Roxie and cant recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we loved the cozy, rustic atmosphere. It felt very personable and homey.
The service was impeccable - super quick and incredibly friendly. The staff were attentive and efficient, getting us seated and served promptly.
The food was the star of the show! We started with cocktails, and my "Sevillian Swinger" was absolutely delicious. It was so refreshing and had a great kick of elderflower, which is often hard to find in cocktails. For our mains, I ordered the sirloin, and it was cooked to perfection. Beautifully tender with a wonderful sear, and the chimichurri was outstanding! It had the perfect amount of spice, something that many chimichurris lack. We also shared the mac n cheese, which was wonderfully saucy and packed with truffle flavour - a truffle lovers dream! The grilled crust added a delightful crunch.
For two people, including two cocktails, two small glasses of Merlot, and an extra side, the bill came to £109. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, this felt like excellent value. I cant wait to go back to Roxie to try the burgers and the Sunday roast!
