1 /5 Sarah H: Heard about this restaurant and have been wanting to try it. Ordered a shawarma bowl to go, service was average at the beginning.
However, when I went to take my first bite of food, I noticed something sticking out of it.
A Fingernail.
Nothing of the sort has ever happened to me at any other establishment. I went back to tell them this and showed them the fingernail also, and their first response was to deny that it was a fingernail, when it VERY clearly was.
I reiterated that it was, and the manager didn’t offer any apologies or offer me a refund, he just looked at me and said ‘Well what do you want me to do?’. I was taken aback and said that I obviously wanted a refund, card if possible. He then got the money out of the till and handed it to me without saying another word.
Not once did I hear them apologise or offer any solution to the problem, or even say this has never happened before, which is the sort of response you would expect from a business.
It could be called a mistake, but extremely unprofessional in their response for an issue that was clearly on them, with no attempts to reconcile the matter.
