Dhruv Savaliya I’ve ordered takeaway from this restaurant multiple times, and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My go-to order is their special thali, which comes with a variety of curries, bread, and rice—perfect for a complete meal. Even after a long drive home, everything remained hot and delicious. The flavors are rich and authentic, just like a home-cooked meal. The ordering process is seamless, and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious vegetarian food on the go!

Courtney Prettejohn Our experience at Lury was outstanding. The flavour combinations of every single dish was so well thought out, incredibly creative, and unlike anything weve tasted before. Out of the 10 x dishes on the tasting menu, there was not 1 that felt flat or uninteresting. Every single dish was standout. It was hard to pick our favourite dishes because they were all so memorable. The service was attentive and kind without being overbearing. The ambience is relaxed and romantic, but paired back in a simple way. We couldnt be happier to have a restaurant of this quality in Hastings and cant wait to visit again. And we must say, cardamom butter is an absolute revelation!!

Xander Tai Went into the cafe today with my family, and I was stunned to see a ROAST on the menu. It’s honestly one of the best roasts around. The potatoes were golden brown and crisp with a very soft inside. And the chicken was far from dry, with new flavours with each chew! Ignore the ketchup you won’t be needing that! The gravy was unreal, imo it bumped the roast up to a 10/10! I would defo recommend. The staff were very friendly, and quick to answer my questions. If your around Hove Park on a Sunday and feel a bit peckish then I’d defo go on down and give it a try. Thank you Hove Park for the great service!

Arezoo Ahmadi What a lovely staff! If you’re Persian, I have to say the owner is truly ba maram (so generous and kind). We had ordered Jigar Pich, and when they noticed it wasn’t cooked exactly as I expected, they kindly offered us a free skewer. When it came time to pay, they didn’t even accept our payment! He was so generous. We really enjoyed the food, it was a little different from the Jigaraki we usually have in Tehran, but it tasted so good! Highly recommended. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture to share.

Emmie M best cocktails in the old town, what other bar does £5 cocktails?! Lovely service and can see the hard work the owners have put into this place. Extremely accommodating and kept checking back with me and my partner if we wanted anything else. Also only place in Hastings to have lucky Buddha on tap. Will be returning for bottomless brunch with the girls!
