The Corner Café - (Near Southwark, london)

Kate Wilson I booked the room upstairs for a late lunch for our sketching group - such a beautiful room overlooking the river with fantastic views. Vas was so helpful. We ordered drinks and food as we came in, and were able to sketch looking out of the windows both before and after eating. We stayed well into the afternoon, and had the room to ourselves. My toasted sandwich with salad and sweet potato chips was excellent, as was the non alcoholic ale. A thoroughly enjoyable experience - and so much better than expected given previous reviews. But I understand the pub is under new management. Can highly recommend.

Selcuk Gulen Absolutely delicious! I had the chicken burger and chips, and both were spot on. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly easily one of the best chicken burgers I’ve had from a takeaway. The chips were hot, crispy, and just the right amount of salt. Service was friendly and fast too. Highly recommend Lee Fish Bar !

R K A surprise meal for my birthday - I had no idea what to expect but I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Im struggling to find the words to encapsulate how incredibly out of this world this culinary experience was. Every finite detail was carefully thought through, the staff imparted their impeccable knowledge of each component to the dishes, the drinks and of course - the Story -behind how the chefs have curated their menu. I have been left inspired, enthralled and completely mesmerised by the entire evening. Each dish a performance on my palate, carefully and thoughtfully directed by all of the staff involved. Masters of your art, truly a memorable experience for a lifetime. Thank you truly for the unfortgettable evening.

Shbashdelam All together seems like a hidden gem of pink, living up to its name sake. Halal food, no alcohol served on premises, a bonus. I was taken for my birthday by my 4 sons and 2 daughter-in-laws 26/12/25. Lovely deshi owners, the shatkhora was top notch, along with the other special dishes ordered. The staff and owner was very hospitable. A pleasant surprise of a candled desert for my birthday AKA from the owner. Thank you.

farihah tijani Went to lit to celebrate a friends birthday the day we arrived really late but we were accommodated so amazing by the staff and owners. Kitchen was closed so they made what could be and we had an amazing time the Jollof: beautiful beyond belief, the Beef Suya: spicy but so hard to stop eating. Over all lesson learnt to arrive earlier to enjoy the full experience. 10/10 would recommend

Kayla Walazek I came to the black dog because of Taylor Swift and was absolutely blown away. The vegetarian Sunday roast was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was amazing. They also sell merch including friendship bracelets, tote bags and shot glasses which is perfect for gifts for your swiftie friends.
