Anamol Rana The food is quite authentic and the bbq meats are quite tender, the sides and sauce are as close as you can get to the real thing. I recommend for a nice night out with friends or family!!!

Autumn Y Youre directed to a check in area upon arrival where you can drop off your stuff in a locker (free). Youll need to hand in your ID at that time to get a visitors pass. Following that, you make your way into the prison. Youll have to remove jackets/jewelry/extras, go through a metal detector, and get a pat down. Youre then led into the restaurant. Youll be sat, given time to look over the menu, and ask questions if needed. The environment itself looks like one of a regular restaurant, with the exception of plastic cutlery. The staff were partly in training when I was there, so they were decently chatty and eager to help with anything. They did try to upsell a decent amount, but that is probably in part to the training bit, in terms of learning how to work that in more flawlessly. Ordered a pork chop that came with soba noodles and a smashed cucumber salad. The food tasted good overall. They have their regular desserts as well as ones that are made by the inmates there (separate menu for these). So ask to see what those are to support them if youd like. When leaving, you will need to be escorted, so just be sure to ask for your host before you head out.

F West Originally went for breakfast about a year ago which was amazing so decided to revisit for an evening meal. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and decor with attentive and friendly staff. The food portions are very generous and the pricing is very fair. The food is lovely and fresh, my only feedback would be that the truffle linguine needs more truffle flavour. There is also no automatic service charge which is rare these days, and makes me more likely to tip. We will definitely be returning.

Kashifa Ahmed We had an amazing experience at East is West ! The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered large platter which was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Lamb karahi and daal channa was outstanding.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about their customers. We’ ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience.

Arzoo Ahmed This is a beautifully authentic Syrian cafe with wonderful service and a cosy atmosphere. The falafel was super fresh - crispy and delicious, not dry as most falafel tends to be. The cheese spring rolls were perfectly balanced with sesame seeds and herbs. Already looking forward to my next visit - thank you!

Ertan Gul Run by an elderly couple this chippy has been around for 26 years and is a staple of Blackstock Road. Foods never dropped in quality and they make sure to always be open. The owner keeps his doors open not for business but for passion and to keep himself busy. Everyone should go in to support and have a chat.
